Are all binding jobs the same quality? At J.R. Sovine Carpet & Floors we don't believe so. First, we use the finest binding machines made today which are made by Bond Products. Using a straight stitch or a variable width locking V stitch, our workroom produces the most secure and professional binding application available today. We also pay particular attention to squaring up the rugs or assuring that patterns are balanced and true.

We maintain hundreds of colors in stock of polyester, cotton and serging in 7/8 and 1 ¼ inch widths, and when we don't have the right color we custom order. For extra thick carpets, including Berber, we bevel the edges so that the binding material can be properly applied.

For all extra wide canvas type bindings (one to three inches showing) we use a blind stitch with no visible stitching on top. Select lapped or mitered corners.
